1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210


1955 chevy 2dr post.  Car was completely assembled and driving, torn down for painting.  Chassis is done with the body on, 5.3 LS with t56 trans.  The sheetmetal is mostly original GM except hood is a Real Deal Steel replacement.  Body was sandblasted and epoxy primed, some small repairs have already been made to quarters and replacement rocker.  The floor and trunk is original GM with modifications for T56 transmission and late model GTO power bucket seats.  The headrest have been removed because they look better.  The car was assembled and wheel alignment done, the new Painless harness was installed and routed, the Dakota Digital VHX gauges were installed and working properly, new dual exhaust with Super Turbo mufflers and tail pipes out the back, the AC was even charged, the new front window was installed and car was driven for a couple summers before being taken apart for painting.  The dash and some small parts are painted 1950 Oldsmobile mint green BUT the firewall is satin chassis black and the underside of car is bedlinered in black.  You can choose any color you like.  I will list out what is done and included, please ask any questions and I can take specific pictures or send video of LS running.-body was pulled from frame, sandblasted, epoxy primed and bed liner coated underneath-new hood and hood hinges-new repair panels installed from Danchuk-frame was sandblasted and powder coated chassis black-frame assembled with CPP side mount motor mounts and TransDapt tubular trans crossmember-new CPP tubular upper and lower control arms and front springs / shocks-new CPP power rack and pinion kit-new CPP headers, new dual exhaust with super turbo mufflers out to back-5.3 LS with LS6 camshaft, valvespring and HD pushrod upgrade-new GM muscle car oil pan-PSI conversions engine wiring harness, ECM mount and ECM-rebuilt LS T56 with LS6 clutch and flywheel-Mcleod hydraulic clutch kit for OE pedal-Lokar gas pedal kit and cable-new driveshaft-10 bolt rear end rebuilt with new bearings, 4.10 gears and locker-new rear leaf springs and bushings-new u bolts, hardware, shackles and shocks-new front and rear disc brake kits-new Rocket racing wheels and BF Goodrich radial T/A’s-new body mounts and hardware-new TANKSinc gas tank with internal 255lph efi fuel pump and sending unit-new TANKSinc LS fuel line kit with corvette filter/regulator-new brake lines and flex hoses completely-new weatherstrip kit, not installed-new front windshield, was installed and is removed-new Vintage Air AC kit, completely installed and charged, with Sanden compressor on LS high mount brackets-new aluminum radiator, electric fan and shroud.  -new belts and hoses-new Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster, installed and connected. worked properly-new Dakota Digital VHX clock for passenger side-new Painless wiring harness and switches/accessories installed in body-late model GTO power seats mounted and wired, removed head rests because they look better as a low back seat-rear seat spring, needs to be covered to match front seats-new OPTIMA battery, rear mounted with new battery cables-the 150 trim, window vents, handles, spears, window trim and lots of small pieces have been rechromed and polished by Decorative Industrial Plating ($6k)-NOS grill, very nice original GM-there is new parts in boxes -window regulators and much more miscellaneous hardware and partsEven though the car is partially disassembled for paint, it runs and drives right now.  The brakes, steering, wheel alignment, clutch, charging system, AC unit under dash, wiring harness, etc. all working so you can put together or work on 55 ASAP.  Please contact me with any questions you may have.  I can send specific pictures and I have video of cold start in garage, sounds great!
