The 1956 Thunderbird sought to build on the early success of the ’55 T-Bird, with several key improvements. One of the biggest consumer complaints in 1955 was the lack of trunk space. To remedy this issue in 1956, the Thunderbird was equipped with a rear-mounted Continental Kit.
The black Hartz Cloth Soft Top is in fantastic shape as well and provides a nice contrast with the overall color scheme of the car.
