In 1953 Buick came out with one of the finest convertibles ever produced to celebrate their 50th year in business. The Buick Skylark Anniversary convertible is 1 of 1,690 produced. It was basically a custom with its lowered roof line, special front fenders with no port-holes, and a full line of luxury options that makes this so special.
Excellent chrome and brightwork add beauty with attention to detail done to a high degree. The engine compartment is well detailed with correct colors, decals and even the correct bracket to hold the generator unique to the 1953 Skylark is in place. The is one of the most iconic Buicks ever built.
The Dynaflow automatic makes this car a pleasure to drive and came with power steering and power brakes. Power windows and power seat are also present. This Skylark convertible is finished in its original color of Mandarin Red and paired with the black canvas power assist top she is a standout.
