This particular example, which comes to us out of a large Texas-based collection, underwent a complete frame-off restoration and was an Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) award winner a few years back. With 1957 being the first year for Chevy’s famous 283 V8, this particular Bel Air is a Power Pack car with the 283 Cubic Inch V8 and a single 4 barrel carburetor that pushed out 220 horsepower in its day. Dual Exhaust gives this Bel Air Convertible an excellent throaty sound.

The bench seats and door panels have been recovered in classy Silver and Red Vinyl, which is exactly how this car was ordered back in 1957. The black carpeting is in superb condition and really sets off the Red and Silver Vinyl Interior look of the car. The Dash and Steering Wheel are in excellent shape and appear just as they did when this Bel Air Convertible rolled off the Atlanta factory line.

Dual Exhaust gives this Bel Air Convertible an excellent throaty sound. A Manual 3 Speed Manual Transmission is hooked up to the 283 V8, making for a really fun car to go for a summer cruise. This ’57 Bel Air Convertible is equipped with Factory Power Steering which makes for a much more enjoyable driving experience.
