1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk – Ellingson Motorcars
The new aerodynamic-looking Gran Turismo was only produced by Studebaker for a few years since Studebaker went under just a short time later. The standard Studebaker 289 Cubic Inch V8 motor powers this interesting piece of automotive history and is paired with a Single 4 Barrel Carburetor, which together pushed out 225 horsepower. The 289 V8 is mated to a 2 Speed Automatic Transmission, making this classic Studebaker an easy car for anybody to drive.
The dash and steering wheel are in their stock configuration and give the interior a futuristic look. The Gran Turismo is also equipped with full instrumentation, including a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, amp gauge, water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, and an electric clock. This GT also comes with a Studebaker All Transistor AM/FM pushbutton radio, which was an option back in 1963.
