1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Extremely
rare 1973 Volkswagen full panel bus, factory built in Germany, with no rear window,
euro trailer plug and euro metal dash. Vehicle was built by Volkswagen utility
truck (Ziegler) for a German volunteer fire department VG Rhaunen and Loschzug
Schauren. It was never available for purchase in the US and was brought over by
a US military member. The metal dashboard is not standard for this year and was
only available in Germany. Vehicle is equipped with a freshly rebuilt 1914cc
motor, with dual weber carbs, upgraded to an alternator, and a new starter. The
transaxle was rebuilt in 2017. The bus underwent a top to bottom restoration in
2017, because of a flood at my residency in 2015. I live in lovely California,
they forced me to title the bus as salvaged. The bus was not in an accident, the
salvage title is only do to flood.  This
is an extremely rare vehicle and is an incredible opportunity to own for a true
Volkswagen collector. This bus will draw a crowd at any automobile event you
attend, whether it is a local cruise night or a national event. There certainly
will not be another there anywhere like it.
