This hood was 18lbs lighter than the steel version and the engine included an aluminum intake which shed even more weight. The W-30 package added other visible performance parts too such as the Hurst dual-gate shifter to control the Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. The drive train itself was completely rebuilt on this car in 2014 according to documentation we have on the vehicle, with an estimated 2,000 miles driven since.
