This coupe correctly keeps the 327 cubic-inch displacement that was the top V8 for the regular production cars. But it’s not a stock heart. This mighty motor inhales deeper with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as long tube headers connect to a Flowmaster dual exhaust.
There are auxiliary gauges cleanly mounted under the dash, and the Hurst shifter is just calling out for your right hand. There’s a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner for upgraded driving music, but after seeing all these upgrades, you already know your favorite soundtrack starts under the hood. The engine bay has a clean and mean look with slick black fender walls that funnel your attention to the bold orange motor and those polished components.
