1970 Plymouth Barracuda

This is the one. The “One of none”, 1970 Hemicuda AAR convertible.

This car started life as a six cylinder 3 speed car.

It now has a 472ci Hemi under the hood, backed by a four speed. The car is done up with all factory correct available options, just not in this combo of course. But, the detail of the car is all factory appearing…

The fun part:

Mopar performance block, with Stage V cylinder heads, Stage V 2×4 single plane intake, Stage V roller rocker arms and pedestals, and Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam. made 576hp, 545lbs ft, all in by 5800rpm, all done up to look factory proper. Cast iron factory style exhaust manifolds exit into a proper Hemi H pipe, into flow master mufflers with AAR chrome side exit exhaust tips.

The A833 four speed transmission shifts perfectly through the factory pistol grip, brand new clutch and flywheel, and is trouble free. The rear end is a 8-3/4 with a 489 center section, that has a rebuilt sure grip with NOS factory 3.23 gears, new bearings and seals.
