In 1975 the 428 Police Interceptor motor from a Virginia ATF (Alcohol-Tobacco-Firearms) car was added, they put a Transgo towing shift kit in the C6 Transmission. They also split the original wheels and widened to run wider tires.
This is where the story gets interesting this F100 was purchased by a gentleman from Steelman Motors in Virginia. He and his father built many race cars in the 40’s and 50’s. They built cars that ruled the circle dirt tracks pre-NASCAR.
