The Shoebox Ford built from 1949-1951 was a highly popular automobile amongst civilians and commercial duty with its highly durable Flat Head V8, not to mention high performance for the time. This particular car is believed to be a “Upper Penninsula” of MI car its entire life and is thought to be a retired police cruiser. It is a stripped down version with out turn signals.

The owner is part of the Early Ford V8 Club and did the work himself. He has about $3,000 in mechanical parts and his time. Vehicle Description First let me start by saying this is a running, driving, shifting and braking example.

However, this is a turn key Flat Head that starts perfectly, does not leak or smoke and goes down the road very nicely. There is a also a complete brand new wiring harness that accompanies the car as well. The original build date November 13th 1950 and it was the 27th made that day.
