All the wood finish and details were completed by Ron Heiden of Heiden Woodworking in Encinitas, California. Ron’s finishing work includes ribbon grain mahogany panels inside and out, as well as hardwood maple, birch, and brasswood roof slats. Ron also added mahogany and maple to the Budnik steering wheel and the handle of the floor-mounted gearshift.
In addition to generating more than 500hp and being lightning quick, this vehicle can cruise at more than 70 mph with ease. The engine was built by Gregg Scott Racing Engines in El Cajon, California. The transmission is a beefy Chevy 4L80-E.
