We are presenting a rare 1942 Chevrolet – Buffalo Fire Appliance Co. C-100 fire truck. It is a military Class 500 truck used on the home front during the war for structural fires at air fields, military posts and defense plants.
The history of this fire truck’s service after delivery to the Corps of Engineers is unknown.It was recovered intact from a Northern Michigan salvage yard with all wartime accessories attached. The truck is faithfully restored to it’s original condition and runs well.
The truck has been shown at MVPA (Military Vehicles Preservation Association) events and is a crowd favorite where ever it goes. Every drive is a parade and every stop is a car show. This beautiful veteran of WWII is being marketed by Vehicles of Victory, located in Winston, GA a suburb of Atlanta, GA and they will assist in working with your transporter or shipper.
