I would say it was capable of over 300HP back then with Aviation Gas.I used to really embarrass Porsche 911, and 308 Ferrari owners going up over Parleys canyon which is about 10+ miles of some of the steepest freewayin the US.Also the power I got out of that engine is exactly why I built that racing trans…I got tired of replacing Porsche transmissions.
Engine comes only with one 1600cc cylinder head ( requiring an easy fix other than that cylinder head is in excellent condition ) What you see in the pictures comes with the Carrera. including extra damaged 547/1 1500 cc half case with factory engine number. 82 mm roller bearing crank is in Carrera engine expert’s shop for inspection.
